Elmwood building site The building site next to Kilgobbin Wood is called "Elmwood". Recently there has been complaints to the committee of excessive construction noise
at inappropriate times (outside the agreed 8am - 7pm Mon-Fri, and 8am - 1pm Sat). Make direct contact with John Healy and/or Ciaran Smith; inform the committee via email of complaint and outcome; raise any ongoing issues with the committee via email for discussion at next committee meeting. Persons to Contact regarding Elmwood Building Site, Ballyogan Rd. 1. John Healy is the Senior Environmental Officer, responsible for dealing with issues relating to noise and dust. John tries to ensure that building takes place between 8am - 7pm Mon-Fri, and 8am - 1pm Sat. 2. Ciaran Smith is the contracts manager, responsible for the overall Elmwood site. |

LUAS We will update the residents with information in regards to the implementation of the LUAS in so far as it directly effects Kilgobbin Wood. 27th July 2006: Recently the Kilgobbin Wood Committee met with the Rail Procurement Agency (RPA) to discuss impacts to the Kilgobbin Wood estate and residents. Please read the minutes here. The RPA Plans for the works from Murphy's Town Road down Ballyogan Road past Kilgobbin Wood can be viewed here. A detailed plan of the works outside Kilgobbin Wood detailing the existing entrance being converted into a Cul-de-sac can be viewed here.
